1. Privacy Policy

Planingo ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

• Account information: Name, email address, and profile preferences when you sign in with Google.
• Planning data: Tasks, goals, habits, daily intents, and schedule preferences you create in the app.
• Health & fitness data: Steps, sleep, heart rate variability (HRV), active energy, and workout data — only when you explicitly connect Apple Health. This data is used solely to personalize your daily readiness and coaching suggestions.
• Location data: Approximate location for weather context and commute planning — only when you grant location permission. We do not track or store precise location history.
• Usage analytics: Anonymous interaction events (screens visited, features used) to improve the app experience. No personally identifiable information is included.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide AI-powered coaching, schedule optimization, and habit tracking
• To generate personalized daily insights and recommendations
• To sync your data across devices via your authenticated account
• To send notifications you have enabled (task reminders, morning motivation, end-of-day review)

HealthKit Data

Planingo accesses Apple HealthKit data only with your explicit permission. Health data is used exclusively within the app to inform readiness scoring and coaching. We do not sell, share, or use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing purposes. HealthKit data is not transferred to third parties except as needed to provide core app functionality through our secure cloud infrastructure.

Third-Party Services

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, and cloud functions
• Google Gemini AI: AI coaching and natural language processing (prompts processed server-side; no user data is used for model training)
• RevenueCat: Subscription and payment management
• Open-Meteo: Weather data (receives only latitude/longitude, no personal information)

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase with encryption at rest and in transit. Firestore security rules enforce that each user can only read and write their own data. AI API keys are stored as Firebase secrets and never exposed to client applications.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes all associated data from our servers. AI conversation cache is automatically cleaned up daily.

Children's Privacy

Planingo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You can export your data from Settings > Data Management. You can disconnect any integration (Health, Calendar, Location) at any time. To exercise these rights or ask questions, contact us at privacy@planingo.io.

2. Terms of Use

Planingo is provided as a personal productivity and coaching tool. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

• You are responsible for how you use suggestions, reminders, and integrations.
• Planingo does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice. AI coaching is for informational purposes only.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Planingo.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Subscriptions

Premium features are available via monthly ($5.99/mo) or annual ($39.99/yr) subscriptions. A 14-day free trial is included for new users. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings.

Limitation of Liability

Planingo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on AI-generated suggestions or schedule optimizations.
